An event in Venice unites photography, art and science to reflect on the link between creativity and climate resilience, organized by Le Stanze della Fotografia in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and IAMWILD®. At the center is the exhibition 30 years. The Wild Horses of Sable Island by Roberto Dutesco, which connects Sable Island and Venice, both at risk due to rising sea levels.

The program includes the official opening with Denis Curti, artistic director at Le Stanze della Fotografia, Roberto Dutesco, artist and founder of IAMWILD®, and Anthony Williams, producer of the documentary The Wild Horses of Sable Island. It includes a panel with experts such as Dr. Dahlia Rizk, Nisha Sajnani, Jane Da Mosto and Pier Luigi Sacco.

The meeting concludes with an aperitivo to promote dialogue and awareness-raising. An opportunity to discover how art and beauty can inspire actions for a sustainable future.

From 17:00 to 20:00 you can visit the ongoing exhibitions at Le Stanze della Fotografia with reduced admission: €10 for adults and €6 for students (with a valid university ID: Ca’ Foscari, Ca’ Foscari Alumni, IUAV, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Venezia, IUSVE, or Conservatorio “B. Marcello” di Venezia).

Art Night at Le Stanze della Fotografia

With its fifteenth edition, Art Night returns, an initiative created and coordinated by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice and under the patronage of the Veneto Region. A unique experience to get closer to the world of culture through events, exhibitions, and performances during Venice’s art night.

On this occasion, Le Stanze della Fotografia will also take part in the program by opening the two ongoing exhibitions Horst P. Horst. The Geometry of Grace and Roberto Dutesco. 30 years. The Wild Horses of Sable Island free of charge, without the need for booking.

Admission to the exhibition is free from 18:00 to 22:00 without the need for booking.
